Após anunciar mais detalhes do Nintendo Switch 2 no início de abril, como preços e data de lançamento, a Big N revelou a lista oficial dos jogos que não são retrocompatíveis com o novo videogame portátil. Vale ressaltar que a Nintendo confirmou que seria possível rodar jogos físicos e digitais do Switch (padrão), Lite e OLED no Switch 2. Apesar disso, existe uma grande quantidade de franquias que "estão com problemas de inicialização", e a empresa japonesa já está investigando os motivos.
